"In early 2010, I opened Amadoka as a restaurant focused on a contemporary and healthy kitchen using local organic ingredients. A lot has happened since then. Our team has grown 5 times, we have moved into a bigger location in the heart of San Diego and built a little hotel.


At Amadoka, I want to show our guests that food can be both healthy and delicious, that traditional Californian flavors are surprisingly contemporary, that the true comfort and serenity can be enjoyed anywhere even in the heart of a city, that it is easy to discover new interesting things and to start appreciate life. Hospitality isn't only about serving food for me. I've always dreamt about having both a hotel and a restaurant. Now I'm proud and happy to welcome our guests to a little Amadoka world where they can dine, rest and discover..."

Hotel & Restaurant & Activities

Amadoka hotel offers 7 unique beautiful double rooms. The rooms are of different size and can accommodate up to 4 people. All rooms feature an ensuite bathroom, king size bed, climate control, ultra-fast wifi, flat screen with Netflix & Apple TV.


Amadoka restaurant features 15 tables and is able to accommodate up to 50 guests. The restaurant is open for diner from Tuesday till Sunday and for lunch from Friday till Sunday. Amadoka works with set menus and offers a big selection of local and imported wine.


Finally, Amadoka offers a number of trips and activities organized on a regular basis and available on request, including cooking classes, wine tasting, San Diego walking tours, trip to a local winery, San Diego area day trips. Additionally, we offer different packages and gift vouchers.


COVID-19 POLICY


We are committed to ensuring a safe and secure stay for all our guests. Here are the procedures we have introduced at Amadoka.


  • All team members have undergone extensive training in health & safety protocols specific to managing COVID -19 restrictions and best operations.


  • Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the property as well as individual units in each hotel room.


  • All areas of the property are by reservation only, ensuring that we minimize additional guests on-site and enable us to know exactly who is on-site on any given day and time.


  • The restaurant is operating with reduced capacity to ensure appropriate social distancing. All menus are printed on recycled paper for single use.


  • The hotel is operating with staggered arrival and departure times where possible. Appropriate areas for guests to wait has been arranged and express check in and check out put in place.

 

  • Team members are observing strict protocols regarding continuous sanitizing and cleaning of Reception and Reservation areas. Contactless transactions have been enforced – all payments are to be made by credit card.


  • We have introduced reinforced cleaning procedures for guest rooms, public areas, back-office areas and the restaurant kitchen.


  • We have committed to increased frequency of cleaning of public areas, public bathrooms, studios, and suites (including door handles, switches, and high-touch points).
